ASA 108 is the pinnacle of American Sailing’s certification pathway—designed for advanced sailors preparing for serious bluewater cruising. This intensive course equips you with the skills and experience to plan and execute multi-day offshore passages with confidence, independence, and safety.

You’ll gain hands-on training in long-range navigation, offshore weather, sail repair, emergency preparedness, crew management, and celestial navigation. Perfect for mariners looking to safely cross open oceans or complete long-distance voyages.
