A one time setup fee of $39 applies if you are not in the ASA database and may require a sailing resume or past experience to ensure your qualifications match the ASA standards.
If you challenge multiple certifications, you will need to demonstrate the Standards for each certification, but will only have to take the written exam of the highest certification you are challenging. Cost of materials (textbooks, online lectures) are not included.
