abacadabra-dufour 380: LOCATED IN ST. THOMAS, USVI
$99, 000 **

She's a lovely, traditionally designed yacht both inside and out! With a length of just 36'8" overall, the Dufour 380 provides much more interior space than one would imagine. Other production sailboats of similar length (and longer) would be hard pressed to equal the interior volume found on Abracadabra.
Thanks to her 12'8" beam (much of it carried aft) ... the designers were able to offer up several features not available on other sailboats in the same size range. Both aft cabins are surprisingly spacious, with reasonable storage and hanging locker space. The forward cabin provides even more storage space as well as stand up headroom.
Forward of the aft cabins and at the base of the companionway to starboard, you'll find a well-equipped navigation station with chart table. To port, a roomy head with separate shower. I really like the separate shower as it keeps the rest of the head dry. No more soggy toilet rolls or mopping up after every shower.
Adjacent to the navigation station is the in-line galley boasting Corian countertops, double sinks, two burner stove with oven below, lots of storage and counter space and a huge, top opening fridge.
Her u-shaped dinette seats a crew of 6 and also converts to an additional double berth. I do not recommend this yacht for 8 people as she has only one head, but if you have the need for separate sleeping quarters for your crew of 4 to 6, you have that flexibility for your accommodations.
Topsides, her large cockpit with dual helm stations, wide decks for easy access to the bow and drop down swim platform will all help make your sailing adventure in the incomparable British Virgin Islands that much more enjoyable.
